We all know how stressful it is to find a perfect wireless spot to surf the web or catch-up on our email without being disconnected abruptly due to changing landscapes.
The way telecommunication companies have resolved this was to increases the number of antenna towers surrounding the areas where their users were most likely to be in. But, this involved guesswork and additional resources to be the infrastructure up and working.
And with our world population very increasing the cities are only going to become denser.
This would mean that the number to people on any given area would increase. Why not use this to solve the wireless connection problem.
I mean we could create a nano-sized piece of rod (which is able to transmit received wireless waves or prolong the wave so that it could travel to further places) and insert it precisely into the centre of the hair and fixated at the base.
Idea 1: To receive any signal from the various satellites orbiting the earth we need a dish to collect the entire signal and amplify them to make sense of the signal.
Idea 2: If you hit one tuning fork and bring another tuning fork of the same frequency, the second tuning fork starts to vibrate too. Now, bring a 3rd, 4th and so on next to each other and soon the vibration from the 1st tuning fork can be felt a distance away.
Now, if we put both these 2 ideas together, the huge amounts of hair could create a vast area for any signal to passing by you to be amplified and carried along (idea 1) and in addition, due to the many hair follicle vibrating simultaneously, the signal the person receives is uninterrupted and strong (idea 2) since if any of them get out of tune, its neighbouring hair follicle would bring it back in tune.
Hence, there are many advantages to the design which are
- There is not much of a necessity to ensure high degree of accuracy in transmitting signal from each nano-sized rod since together they support and enrich each other and the fuzzy logic inherited in the system takes care of itself.
- In addition, engineers do not have to take care of damages to these robs or how to protect it as the unique structure of the hair would protect the nano-sized rod found in the middle of it.
- The person having it feels no pain or discomfort as hairs are dead cells without and nerves attached to them. This leads to the next benefit.
- The infrastructure for the antenna is constantly being replaced and renewed and due to the bodies way of adapting to its environment, the hair follicle would get stronger to retain the tactile strength it possessed before the insertion of the rob.
