eBook + paperback = eBooklet

This idea involves combines the amazing benefits of eBook readers (eReader), and the feel of turning pages of a paperback book.

This device has 3 panels consisting of 6 display sides.

The topmost layer (1st display side) would display the cover of the book being read, the bottommost layer (6th display side) would display the end cover of the book. Hence, the 1st and 6th side would form the book cover.

The remaining display sides would display the inner pages of the book, starting from any page the user want to start from or continue reading from. Hence, the 2nd display side would display that and page. The next 3 consecutive pages would be displayed on display sides 3 – 5. Once the read has read the page displayed on display side 5, the user need to move the last panel about the axis. The next 4 pages would be displayed.

For example,
If page 4 was where I left off during my previous reading session, when I open the device, the 1st panel displays of cover front cover of the book, the 2nd panel displays pg. 4 and the other pages from 5 – 7 are displayed on panels 3 to 5. The 6th the final panel displays the back cover of the book.

Once, I have finished reading pg 7. I rotate the last panel about the axis, and now the 5th panel displays the book cover. 6th panel display pg 8 and the other pages from 9 – 11 are displayed on panels 1 – 4.
